People you trust to confirm an event.
An unexpected death, a sudden illness, the day someone can no longer manage their own affairs. Guardians are the people you trust to say when a moment no calendar could predict has arrived.
A witness to the moment.
Who they are
A group of people you choose — a sibling, a close friend, a solicitor. All they need is an email address.
What they do
One thing: respond when they’re asked to confirm. When enough of them agree, the release is triggered.
What they can’t do
Guardians can’t see the contents of your events.
- Name your GuardiansPick a group of people. Each gets an invitation explaining exactly what you’re asking of them.
- Decide how many must agreeTwo of three, three of five — you choose. Set it above one and no single person can confirm your event alone.
- You miss a check-inLGCY checks in with you on a schedule you choose. If those check-ins go unanswered, your Guardians are notified and asked to confirm the event has happened.
- They confirm the momentEach Guardian confirms on their own. Nothing moves until enough of them have agreed.
- The event is triggeredThe boxes are delivered to recipients.

Designed so trust never has to be blind.
You stay in control
Add, remove or replace Guardians, and change how many of them must agree, any time while your event is live — right up until a release begins.
You’re always told
When a confirmation starts, you’re notified immediately — and for as long as you’re able to answer, you can cancel it with one tap.
Enforced by the quorum
Your threshold is enforced by the seal itself, not by our records: without enough Guardians’ secrets the content stays closed, and changing a status in our own database releases nothing.
